If you require FDA approval on any product you give your horse, Equine Colic Relief, like most of the supplements, Non-
Pharmaceutical, Neutraceutical or Nutraceutical and/or Natural Homeopathic Products on the market today, is not FDA approved.
Equine Colic Relief would be according to the FDA, classified as a Neutraceutical.
This classification includes many of the natural Equine feed/food supplemental products you give your horse such as Electrolyte products to prevent dehydration, Biotin products to treat founder and promote hoof growth, Diatomaceous earth products to use in place of wormer, Colic Preventative products, Weight Gain products, Mare Care products etc.
All these commonly used products that bear the FDA disclaimer are according to the FDA unapproved feed/food additives that may or may not be considered by the FDA, to be an unapproved drug and/or, an adulterated drug.
The FDA determines what your product is, by its ingredients/contents and what is stated on your label.
If the manufacturer label states, for example, that their product can be used to treat or prevent founder or promote of change the growth of the hoof wall, cause weight gain, keep mares healthy, reduce or kill worms, or prevent dehydration and/or increase muscle motility
etc., the FDA calls these products unapproved and/or adulterated drugs and must have the FDA disclaimer on the label or be approved by the FDA !
The last statement made by the FDA's CVM (Center of Veterinarian Medicine) Division was about medicines and/or products unapproved, use as animal health products.
The CVM stated because of their Limited Resources, they must focus on products or incidents that pose a known hazard to animal health and concentrate in taking enforcement actions against products, that are more dangerous, than making fraudulent and/or exaggerated claims.
Therefore as long as the FDA disclaimer statement is on a products label, they leave it up to the horse owner to decide what they want
to feed, use on, or give to, their horse.
Since Equine Colic Relief has never been approved by the FDA, we herein state in accordance with FDA laws as follows;
"These statements and or claims we or anyone else has or have made on this website, in our ads and/ or on our product label, has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended, nor to be sold for treatment, to diagnose, cure, mitigate and/or prevent a disease in equines. "
That said, Colic isn't classified by the Association of Veterinarian Medicine as a disease, it's a Happenstance or condition.
We did the proper thing before offering Equine Colic Relief as an Alternative Neutraceutical in 1999 to Canadian & Foreign Clients and
in 2003 to U.S clients, we tested it for 3 years with 100% effective results.
If as they say, "The proof of a pudding is in the eating, then the proof Equine Colic Relief works, is substantiated by the Thousands of clients, who continue to use it as an Alternative, to Stop a bout of Colic .
Since the 1st bottle was sold by a Representative Business Owner in 1999 to a Race & Show Barn in Canada, Clients let us know Equine Colic Relief is working. They say it in written Testimonials, when re-ordering from their Representative or Distributor by spreading the good news and referring other Owners and Friends !
We know from Testing it from 1996-1999, using it on our own horses and through continuous client feedback, that if Equine Colic Relief is used as an Alternative to stop a bout of colic in a horse, it stops it without trauma, side effects, duress, pain or stress.
There are Millions of owners, still not using Equine Colic Relief as an Alternative, that pray their vet will arrive & their horse will live but every 10 seconds another horse with a bout of Colic, runs out of time !
In 1996 we began our Mission and it has been a Heavy Task and rocky road but our reward, has and always will be, Saving Horses 1 Bottle At A Time from Dying of Colic !
This formula was then and is now the answer to the desperate payers of owners who want to save their horses, not watch helplessly as their horse die from colic, while waiting for their vet.
Thus we promise, "As long as 1 Client or Owners Horse is in danger of Dying from Colic, we'll strive, to make Equine Colic Relief available, to those who need it. "
