John wrote this prognostic poem as a way to heal and a warning to all owners that Colic could take their horses like it did when it ripped Brandy, his best friend of 10 years, from his life ! Here in John's own words is the story about that poem as told to Ben his Distributor, when he became his Client in June.
Brandy had a bout of colic after her morning meal & after hearing no bowel sounds, I called my vet but it took him, 3 hours to arrive ! During that time I called him 2 more times on his cell but all he said, was to walk her & give her Banamine which I did but she continued to get worse & I was helpless, to
stop what was happening to her ! When the vet arrived, Brandy was weak, covered in sweat & shaking from shock but he tubed her anyway & tried to
start an IV on her 3 times but each time he tried, she fell then strugged to her feet, then on the 3rd try she fell, closed her sweet eyes & died in my arms !
The vet couldn't figure out why she died so quick so he did a postmortem exam, to see if she had a rupture or twist but only found an impaction, at the
pelvic flexure. 1 hour later me & my friend Steve went to get Brandy to bury her & as we entered her stall, I felt sick looking at my once beautiful
Brandy laying there like an inflated ballon with her gorged bowels, pushing out between the loose exam stiches! Steve stayed a couple of hours after she was buried & he knew I had 5 more horses so he told me, how he used Equine Colic Relief as an alternative, to save 2 of his horses, from Brandy's fate
& not to make me feel worse, he said if I'd called him, it might of helped her as well. After Steve left, as I thought about what he said I got angry screamed at the walls " if I'd just had something God, that could of helped her till the vet arrived she wouldn't of died "& then appologized to God since
"She died because I made a choice that cost her, her life" & sat down with tears of regret streaming down my face and wrote a poem for Brandy.
Later after he became a client, he sent his poem to Ben & he sent it to us. John told Ben, he hoped it would help other owners make a better choice for
their horses, than he did so colic wouldn't kill them, as it did Brandy !

This is probably a question you started asked yourself as you read, what it can do.
A doctor of Marine Biology, who was also a chemist, before he died in 2001, Patented a formula in 1995. Tim was our friend , fellow trail rider & a brillant scientist, who lived in and did his research studies in, Nova Scotia. That's where he discovered a specific combination of Kelp & Irish Sea Moss when liquidated immediately after
being harvested from the sea, would quickly enter & soften to a pudding like consistency, impacted feces containing dirt, hay, feed, grass etc.
This is the Patented Formula we purchased in 1996 & Part 1 of our 4 Part Formula in ECR. Horses aren't robots so no horse responds in a time frame or in the same manner to any product, the same as another !
The time responses used for Equine Colic Relief are approximate and determined by 3 years of testing and 12 years of continual feed back from Clients who
use it. One thing is certain, administer it to your horse wait 10-30 minutes and add another 10-15minutes more, if the abdomen is distended, which usually means the
horse has fully impacted bowels. Then only with a Stethoscope, listen to both sides of your horses gut. If you hear returning bowel sounds on both sides ECR is
working to stop the bout, so relax ! If you don't hear bowl sounds on both sides and/or only on one side, call your vet for ECR, has never failed to perform this
function, in that time span, unless something other than a normal Colic, was occurring !
ECR didn't however ; nor could it's 4 processes help through the years, Client's horses diagnosed later by ultra sound, surgery or postmortem, with ruptures, stones, gravel, obstacles, tumors, wood chips and large amounts of sand in the bowels preventing ECR, from working.
Also in one case, a 2 month old foal had for several days, been eating lead paint off the walls of his stall & died, not from colic but lead poisoning, which was later, postmortem determined, by the Clients vet.

they know, ECR is was working as usual. Even nervous 1st time users who have speed dial for vet on their cell phones, tell their Representatives or Distributors, if they heard no bowel sound or very little bowel sounds before they gave their horse ECR, if 10-30 minutes after their horse ingested ECR, they hear returning or stronger
bowel sounds, it must be working, so why vets button !
