Our Mission Began 1 cold night in the Kiamichi Mountains of Oklahoma in 1996, when 4 Dog Tired Riding Buddies from four different states sat talking about their horses.
We had discussed our horses for the last 8 years every night at our campfire since 1988, when we first met, on the Wild Horse Trail Ride.
That night we talked about the lady who earlier lost her horse from Colic & were sharing our thoughts about what happened, when our friend Tim sat down & after our conversation with him, we began our Mission, to Save Horses 1 Bottle at a Time. It wasn't till 1999 after our 4 part formula was fully tested, we formed Equine Colic Relief Company, then copyright protected the name of our Company & Equine Colic Relief (ECR) ,the name we chose for our formula. That year we began Phase 1 of our Marketing Plan by putting 53 World Wide, Independent Representative Business Owners under contract, to Represent & wholesale ECR, to clients. In 2001 we lauched Phase 2 as the Representative Owners began recruiting from their Clients, True Believers (see Page 2 link above) who wanted to open up their own Retail Distributorship Businesses and by 2007 had under contract 45 World Wide, Retail Distributorship Business Owners.
Word to mouth is still the best and less complex form of Advertising so we felt in the beginning, direct information about ECR as an Alternative, should come from Clients, who use it not an ad campaign !
When an Owner uses ECR & saves their horse from Dying of Colic, they become a Client & ECR becomes an Alternative, they begin telling other Owners about and/or referr other owners to their Representative & Distributorship Business Owners so they acquire a new client and the never ending circle begins again.
There have been Ads and/or articles for ECR in magazines, like Horse Illustrated, Dressage Today & many others ! Currently several Distributors runs ads in various magazines in their state, like in Texas/ Southwest Horse Trader, in Utah/ Bridle & Bit, in MN/ Polo gazette, in Main/ Horse Trader , in New Mexico/ Today's Horse Trader & many others.
Bruce DeFoor Distributor for NM. & CO. had his article printed in Today's Horse Trader titled, Peace of Mind, which is about ECR, his Client, his Client's horse & a near fatal bout of impaction colic. Billie, the Distributor for Utah & Arizona currently runs her ad in Bridle & bit & there have been, through the years ad's and articles from many other Distributors in their local magizines and publications.
Owners, if you didn't know till now, ECR as an alternative, existed & wonder why in the last 9 years you've never heard about it, then first answer this !

At the time this was written, horses and man had an unseparable bond & together they pioneered & built this Great Country. Today Horses are classified as disposable by several agencies, including the FDA who considers them part of the human food chain ! To us, they're not Disposable, they're irreplaceable !
They're our Friends, Champions & Babies that have fallen victim through the years, to the ignorance of man & their stupid laws, yet they forgive us. There is, in our opinion no other creature in God's Creation so beautiful, brave & willing to face death, to protect us ! During the time of Chief Sitting Bull, when the 7th Calvary charged to their doom, a horse called Commanche used his body to sheild his owner Captain Keogh & though grievously wounded by many arrows, would of died, to save him ! Commanche didn't die from his wounds, years later he died from a simple bout of Colic, like 5.1 million horses did World Wide in 2007 & left their owners with an empty space in their heart !
Shakespeer wrote " When I bestride him, I Soar, I am a Hawk, he trots the air, the earth sings when he touches it."This is the way horses, make us feel !
Alexander the Great said " Give me Horses for my Army with the intelligence, courage & steadfast heart of Bucephalus & I'll conquer the World " which by the way,
he almost did !
Indivually the horses we & our friends raise breed, race & or show are as precious to us as yours are, to you but 7 had a history of chronic colic so by allowing them, to be in both our study from 1996-1997 & The Testing Facility study from 1997-1999, our formula can now save, all horses. We believe God, on the day we were born, gave us our love for horses, to plant our feet upon this path. Clients, Representative & Distributorship Business Owners, are the wind beneath our wings & continue to stand boldly beside us to daily Fight this endless battle, to Save Horses who without this alternative, will continue to die from simple bouts of colic, as Commanche did !
