Febuary 23, 2007
We had in 2007 another Fantastic Year Saving Horses & the Distributorship and Representative Business Owners sent us some moving Client Testimonials by mail,
e-mail and fax.
We chose this letter, from the many we received and decided to give it the whole Testimonal page. To update, Mark the Distributor for Minnesota his signed up Linda as a Sub. Since Linda wrote her letter she has saved Snappy 3 times using ECR. Brian has moved on to Chicago to Manage a huge TB operation of race and show horses and has saved his mare 2 times using ECR and referred 40 clients since 2007, to his new Distributor. Linda told Mark Snappy always has 3 bottles of ECR ready to save her.
If your still not a client using ECR as an Alternative, as you read this long letter, we pray it gives you food for thought and serious reflection as well as inspires you as it did us.
Dear Equine Colic Relief,
Snappy is Happy !
She's our 15 year old baby that's been in and out of vet clinics and tortured by our vet every time she's had bout of impaction colic ! I heard about your medicine from our farrier who sells it for the Minnesota Distributor. I live in St.Paul, MN and have a riding school where I give lessons to handicapped kids. Snappy is a schooling mare I bought 5 years ago from a seller who forgot to share the fact she had a long history of impaction colic but that's my fault, since I knew sellers are not always honest .
We love Snappy's eagerness to please, quirky personality and her smooth Missouri Fox Trott gait . She is always so sweet and gentle she's the favorite lesson horse with all the kids who take turns arguing, who gets to ride her.
3 months after we bought her she had a bout of impaction colic that put her in the clinic for 6 days. We thought we would loose her but she pulled up her socks and recovered. Each year since then, she has had 2-4 bouts a year. We talked about putting her down last year but just the thought made us all bust into tears.
Marty whose been our vet for 23 years, continued to have no answers for us so while my farrier Brian trimmed her feet one day in January I asked him if he'd heard of any treatments or suppliments we could get to prevent her from getting colic or help her during a bout.
He said he started selling a medicine in november 2006 when he personally saw it stop a bout of Impaction Colic in his cutting mare. I knew that was the same type of colic Snappy has, so I continued to listen intensively to what he was saying.
He said his mare had bouts of impaction colic before but was on a suppliment that was suppose to prevent it, I won't mention what it was but he said it didn't work. Then in 2006 she collapsed at the show entrance gate while waiting to compete and Brian said he asked a lady if she would get the vet but she returned 10 minutes later without the vet and told him the vet was attending to another horse but he said Brian needed to give his mare a shot of Banamine, if he had any and walk her till he got there. Brian said he was about to do that, when a man he knew as kevin asked if he could help.
Brian knew he was a nice guy from chatting with him at other shows but when he said he had medicine that could stop the bout, he had a serious problem believing him. Kevin told him it was safe, worked fast and he'd used it for 2 years to stop all the bouts of colic in his horses and that convinced Brian so Kevin went to get it.
When Kevin returned, Brian had given his mare Banamine and was walking her as the vet instructed but she still had no bowel sounds and bloated .
Kevin gave the mare the medicine and about 21 minutes or so later, Brian said he heard bowel sounds. After 60 minutes or so she had passed gas and various shapes of manure had strong bowel sounds and wasn't bloated. He said there were no further signs she ever had a bout of colic !
All afternoon he said she pooped, feasted on her hay, drank her 20 gallon water bucket dry 3 times but that evening Brian said he cut on her and won 2nd place ! Brian asked Kevin for the Distributors name and number then offered to pay Kevin for the medicine but Kevin said he was glad to save such a talented mare and for him to pay his favor forward.
Brian called the Distributor that day and signed up to sell it on the side. He only makes $10.00 for each bottle he sells and said he's doing it not to get rich but save horses and pay Kevin's favor forward, like he asked him to.
I bought a bottle from Brian for $75.00 that day and he told me I was the Distributor's Client, not his but I could buy it from him, which was a bit confusing but what the HECK ! He said the cost could go up to $100.00 by fall but I didn't care if it cost $200.00, since I hadn't paid a vet bill less than $600.00 for Snappy so if it worked that's still cheap ! I knew I had a choice to make to either wait for the next bout and pay the vet a lot of money or buy now for a lot less and save Snappy so to buy NOW wasn't a hard choice !
1 month and 2 weeks later I was giving a lesson on Snappy with Ben using a paraplegic harness when Snappy suddenly stopped, which she never did unless a kid was falling off . I ran to Ben who was fine, got him off Snappy's back, gave him to his Mom and walked Snappy, who was already bloated and sweating back to her stall. I got her saddle and tack off and I wasting no time, since I knew she was having a bout of colic, I ran down the 150' aisle to the medical cabinet to get my medicine and ran back to her stall but not fast enough, cause she was down and when I listened with my Stethoscope there were no bowel sounds .
I straddled her neck and steadied her head so I didn't spill the medicine, gave her 2 full syringes of medicine and only relaxed after she got up 19 minutes later and I heard bowel sounds. I decided to document everything I saw so I periodically checked her and timed what was happening.
After 22 minutes I heard steady strong bowel sounds. After 43 minutes she passed gas and after 54 -63 minutes her bloated gut was gone she began passed some normal, then pudding like dark manure for the remaining 20 minutes, then started eating her hay.
I filled up her 10 gallon water bucket up 2 times before she stopped drinking and only 83 minutes as the bout started she was standing in her stall healthy and sound as a dollar ! The wonderful thing was, like Brian had said, it was like the bout never occured and like him when he cut the same day with his mare, that day only 1 hour after her bout had ended I gave 3 more lessons on Snappy and as she trotted happily around the arena, she made me a TRUE BELIEVER in the POWER of this MEDICINE and client FOR LIFE !
Nothing I saw after I gave Snappy your medicine indicated she was in pain, upset or uneasy and she didn't received Banamine which I kept bottles of just for her because after 19 minutes she showed no signs of pain, so why give it ! I know your company daily here's this from Owners like me but THANK GOD for this MEDICINE and I pray it's always Available to save SNAPPY & EVERY HORSE in the WORLD !
Brian told me I had to send this letter to the Distributor and he would send it to you. Brian also said not to give you my full name so the Distributor could protect his Client List so instead here are the first names of members of my family and all the students that love Snappy.
