Steffen Peters, recently won the Gold Metal in the Grand Prix at the World Cup as seen above, in his division in Las Vegas in 2009, riding Ravel. He is the first American rider to win a Gold Metal in any divison of the World Cup!
Steffen Peters, returned to the Olympics for the second time in 2008, riding Ravel and placed fourth, just out of the metals in individual dressage.
The dressage rider won an individual bronze at the 2007 World Cup in Las Vegas on Floriano. He won a team bronze medal, as seen below, riding Floriano at the 2006 World Equestrian Games. As an alternate in the 2004 Games, Peters again won a team bronze medal as he had at the 1996 Games.

"A Once in a Lifetime Remedy"
equine_colic_medicine018001.jpg
By Trish Walton

Once in a lifetime a remedy comes along that eases suffering, heart ache, and saves lives gently and
humanely. I have been one of the many fortunate horse owners to administer and experience the results
of such a remedy. The remedy is called Equine Colic Relief/ECR. ECR is a natural colic remedy that works with a horse’s physiology and biology to resolve a bout of colic in as little as 90-200 minutes.
This spring and summer I administered ECR to 4 different horses at various locations in the
Las Vegas valley. Each horse had bi-lateral bowel sounds return in less than 20 minutes after administration, and each horse became interested in their environment, urinated, drank water, and passed manure within 2 hours without additional pain or trauma.
Is ECR a miracle?
In my opinion, it sure acts like one!
One beautiful April morning I was called by the owner/trainer of a recently imported Hanoverian colt of
significant value.
3 hours earlier, the colt after showing signs of distention and impaction colic, was not responding to Banamine!
The trainer wanted to try ECR and asked if I could stop by the stables and administer it.
I must note that Banamine can aide with gas, but as other smooth muscle relaxers can slow down a horse's gut response to the 4 processes in ECR, so it is best, not to administer these medications before administering ECR.

ECR is safe and does not interfere or interact negatively with these medications.
However, these medications can interfere with the performance of ECR!

When I arrived at the stables, I saw a beautiful 3 year old colt that was despondent and feeling miserable! He had little to no left hind gut activity and slightly below normal right hind gut activity.

The recommended dosage is one 4oz bottle of ECR administered orally as soon as you notice colic symptoms.
ECR has a taste horses “love”, so once you get a squirt or two in their mouths, you rarely have any
trouble getting them to swallow.

I administered the 4 oz bottle of ECR into the back of the colt’s mouth via syringe, encouraging
a swallow response with each dose.
It takes about 10-15minutes to administer, because I only put about 3/4oz in the syringe at a time.
I find it is easier to handle the syringe and I am less likely to lose a large amount of formula if a horse bulks or pulls away.

Within minutes of administering ECR, this colt was showing obvious signs of relief.
His bi-lateral bowel sounds became strong in about 10 minutes.
He urinated, drank water, took a short nap, and within 2 hours had passed normal manure 4 times.
A perfect response even with 10cc’s of Banamine in him, to slow down the processes in ECR, Wow!

The next day he participated in a dressage clinic with Steffen Peters as if nothing had ever happened.
This is not an unusual success story!.
Hundreds of trainers and thousands owners of every discipline worldwide have stories just like this mine.
The results I have experienced using ECR are always the same as are theirs!
It is so consistently reliable, especially when administered as a first line of defense, that if it does fail, the client knows they have an abnormal bout of colic and call their vet!
ECR is patented worldwide and has been used in Canada and Europe since 1999.
The ECR formula is a staple at the Spanish Riding School, Windsor Stud, Canadian Mounted Police, racing farms, jumper venues, dressage farms, the list is endless.

This product is regarded as an elite remedy, that can be used hours before Olympic events if required.

ECR is completely drug free, is 100% natural, contains no banned herbs or substances, is thoroughly tested, and is completely safe for all equines of any age or size, including lactating and/or pregnant
mares, foals, minis, draft breeds, zebras, mules, donkeys and breeding stallions.
The ingredients are simple.
The formula in ECR is comprised of liquidated extracts of Irish sea moss, deep sea kelp, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, Calcium, Vitamin D3, peppermint oil, glycerin, purified water, 2 drops of molasses for flavor and Sorbitol for sweetening.
ECR was developed to do one thing so it works so well because as it's ingested each process integrated with a horse’s natural biological and physiological process. Then working in unison the 4 processes end the 4 causes a bout continues.
It dissipates gas in the bowel, assists gut rehydration, balances electrolytes, and softens any impacted or hardened fecal matter so the horse’s gut can do what it does best, move and eliminate it effortlessly just like, nothing ever happened.
ECR) can go with you anywhere. It has a 12 year shelf life. Yes, 12 years!

It is completely stable in all temperatures, meaning it needs no refrigeration in the summer and no heat in the winter. The product is provided as a 4 oz. liquid and is administered orally via syringe (included)
towards the back of the horse’s mouth. Easy!

Let’s face it, I wish we could abolish colic all together!
But I sure sleep easier at night knowing I have a product in my barn, and in my car that is as effective as ECR.
I have watched it save horse’s lives and it is fast!
We all know that time can mean the difference between the life and death of a horse.
Remember: As wonderful as this product is, it can not move mountains!
Clients know if they do not hear bi-lateral bowel sounds return within a maximum of 40 minutes for a horse fully distended and/or if the horse shows no signs of relief, this is not a normal bout and they call a vet immediately!
ECR was scientifically developed and tested to consistently, return bowel motility within 10-30 minutes
and end a normal bout of colic, after the body expels, gas and softened feces within 45-200 minutes.
If the horse's abdomen, before administering ECR is fully distended, wait an additional 10 minutes after
you check them at 30 minutes for bi-lateral Motility. No bi-lateral activity, signs of relief or passage of manure are clinical indications, the horse is having an abnormal bout of colic!
These horses in 99% of reported cases will require immediate medical or surgical intervention to
save their life!
