Our Mission began in 1996, on a cold night in the Kiamichi Mountains of Oklahoma.
The Four of us, once a year since 1983, had taken time from our busy businesses to spend a week riding on Wild Horse Trail ride. It was on such a ride in 1993, we formed a partnership between our 4 horse farms and began marketing our horses world wide.
That night, in 1996 as we sat warming ourselves at the campfire, our concerns were for a fellow rider, who earlier lost her horse from Colic!
We had just started to share our own stories about this Killer, when our friend Tim, sat down to tell us about his formula, and this formula, which first ignited our hearts, later became our Mission to "Provide it as the Gift Of Life for horses with colic!"
After we bought Tim's formula,we had a lab add 3 more parts and first tested it successfully for 1 year on our own farms, then hired a testing facility to conduct an effectiveness and safety study from 1997-1999. We then copyright protected the name Equine Colic Relief and patented the formula as a product and process in the US and Canada. Today in the ECR Sales System, there are 53 Representatives to care for clients without a Distributor in their state or country, currently 82 Retail Distributorship Business owners world wide, serving their clients and in 2010 the current ECR international patent pending status, will change to a patent.
We believe, the best and most honest form of advertising, is "Word to Mouth" information passed on from the clients who use ECR, not from an elaborate, saturation ad campaign! In surveys taken through the years, clients state they bought ECR, as something good to have on hand, but after it saves their horse from dying of colic, they became a True Believer and client for life! The Retail Distributors in the ECR system have had articles about ECR, printed by editors in Bridle & Bit, Today's Horse Trader and other magazines as well as ads they place monthly in NM, CO, AL, AZ, TN, FL, CA, WA, TX, KY, GA, NV, UTH, TN, NY, MN, ND, SD, OK, WI, ILL, Alaska, Canada, Australia, England, Spain, France, Mexico, Greece, Ireland, Wales and 25 other states and countries.

Chief Joseph, wise leader of the Nez Perce Indians, breeders of the 1st Appaloosa, believed as we do, in the parable of how the Great Spirit, created the 1st horse from the stars and winds, and because he loved man, joined their 2 spirits, into 1!
In the 1800's when Joseph lived, horses and man did have an inseparable bond as they pioneered and built, this Great Country! Today they're classified as disposable by several agencies, including the FDA, who considers them part of the human food chain! To us, they're Irreplaceable Friends, Champions and Babies, that have fallen victim, through the years to the ignorance of man and their stupid laws, yet they continue to forgive us!
There is in our opinion, no other creature in God's Creation so beautiful and in many, a heart so brave, they'd face death to protect us!
During the time of Chief Sitting Bull, when the 7th Calvary charged to their doom, a horse named Comanche, used his body to shield his owner, Captain Keogh! The captain died in the battle and Comanche, was grievously wounded by arrows, but he didn't die from his wounds, he died a few years later from Colic!
We believe, out of the World Wide 2008, 5.9 million colic deaths, if the horses that died from a normal bout of colic, had received ECR, they'd be alive!
Individually the horses, we and our friends raise, breed, race and show are as precious to us, as yours are to you. 7 had a history of chronic colic so by using
